We can make so much out of just a BOX...

This was an unique journey, overall.
Being exposed constantly under various manipulated spaces this trip became richer and much more interesting as having many counterparts comparing to generic west cost trip for most of the visitors.

From San Francisco to LA to San Diego, we never being satisfied by just setting in the middle of central park or popular resorts, Hollywood fancy restaurants to watching local smiles, listen conversations in the shinny afternoon. Instead we dig really deep to expose every contradictory combination of all these spaces across the city, which include the most opposite elements as well as phenomenons hidden deep inside of these cities.
Modern versus Contemporary, Big versus Small, local versus international...

We had fun. We found out amazing moments...

It was my first time touch the word of "Getty" when searching online image source from grettyimage.com. Second time came closer to word "Getty" while redesigning the official website for Olin studio Architecture with Pentagram in 2009. And finally, third time, came into the real world of "Getty" after 1.5 hour drive from downtown LA, which is an expected fantasy "Getty Center" up on the hill as an white castle from another planet, nourishes by an afternoon sunshine.

Endless group of passionate visitors enjoy the most glorious history of these famous art collections in a completely harmony world. Getty Center let us touch the soul of those pieces.

Such an inspiration~ I melt myself into the light standing in the middle grand of this paradise.
However, I never lose myself as soon as I find and step into the shadow cast by the concrete wall of architecture.
